Information for a Successful Photo Day!

Dance Families!

Before Photo Day!

Arrive early for your group session so your dancer can settle in and feel their best! When families aren’t rushed, we get better smiles, better poses, and a great start to picture day.Prepare your special props early, like trophies, medals, ribbons, senior gear for the shoot.Even if you’re not planning to purchase photos, we kindly ask that every dancer still participates in the group photo for their instructor. These images are used for memories, marketing, and studio displays, plus, it's a fun group photo with friends!

On Photo Day!

Please arrive in your costume for your first group. Hair and makeup should be photo ready! Hair can be worn up or down depending on your instructor's preference (be sure to ask them before photo day)Before your dancer is photographed, have your dancer check in with our staff at an assigned check in/registration table. Your dancer will be “Matched” with their name and parent/guardian information (email/text) provided by your studio.Please look over our posing boards/menus and have a pose in mind. Your own pose is fine, plus your instructor will be there to assist and direct your poses. Practicing your poses and action shots in the mirror a few times is a huge time-saver and helps us keep the session moving smoothly.At this point your images will be streamed live to our iPads for immediate viewing so you can fine tune your pose. No money is collected on photo day since our ordering process is all online, in a secure, private gallery.

After Photo Day!

We strongly suggest you finalize your order on a desktop computer versus your phone.

Please look out for an email and/or text message from Aspire. Don't forget to check your SPAM folder if you don't think you received an email about your photos. Always feel free to email us if you still are not seeing an email/text message about your gallery.[email protected]A private, password protected gallery of all the unedited images (see examples below) taken of your dancer will be LIVE within 7-14 days. You can customize your order, mix and match poses, choose sizes and finishes, crop your favorites, and complete your purchase from any device. You will have 3 weeks to order your photos.*Digital images are delivered once retouched and edited. Prints will be delivered to gym approx. 2 weeks after ordering closes. -Week 1= coupons & free print delivery to your studio-Week 2= last week for free print delivery to your studio-Week 3= only direct ship to home delivery availableImages in the gallery are lightly edited and watermarks are present. However, your final ordered images will be fully edited/retouched and watermarks taken off. Please review the Before/After section below concerning edits.

BEFORE - AFTER

Here are some before/after images. The left image sets are unedited which is why you'll see the background and floor. These will be seen in the parent gallery as previews. (Unedited/Before)Once ordered, we retouch and correct the images like the sets on the right. (After/Edited)Any blemishes, bruises, costume issues are corrected if seen by the editor for free. Any specific requests should be noted the day of shooting to the photographer so we can make sure it's corrected. The photos shown in your gallery are proofs that have not been cropped, color corrected or adjusted for printing or digital delivery. Please email us with any issues to make it right!
